Reached our 100,000th unique visitor sometime early morning today. Hip-hip-hooray! Of course, we are working VERY diligently to bring the 200,000th to our member advertisers in November, the 300,000th in December. And even more each month next year!

News #2: Visitor counters in the works

To show our member advertisers and visitors we mean business, our developers will install two counters like these in a few days:

They’ll be updated automatically once every 24 hours at 2 AM New York time. In addition, we will also make the site stats available as a pdf document with our monthly sales and traffic posting. Read them online or download them at your leisure.

On track with our 100,000+ visitor a month plan

At this moment our visitor count stands at 94,797.

As you know, we aim to bring 100,000+ unique visitors a month to the site. This will increase to 300,000-500,000 visitors, as our membership grows. Also, we will target, re-target, and segment the traffic to the demographics of the membership as it reaches critical mass.

We are committed to deliver the most receptive audience to our member advertisers. We are on the way to achieve that, along with a number of other initiatives. Some won’t work, like this lemon email campaign test, but the lemonade stand is open. Get your fill now!

To find out, we are testing different messages and images, like the one below, with a double opt-in mailing list from FXStyle. We did spend a month pruning and validating it, to give us a representative sample of about 64,000 addresses.

If the test works out well this week, we’ll evaluate email marketing companies, to increase traffic and, of course, to sign up new member advertisers.
